Brody and Brinley!

Well, we found out we are going to have a little girl ............With that, we started to make the change of your room to a "Big Boy Room".............I was a little worried about you sleeping in your Big Boy Bed..............but you are doing an amazing job!!!!!!!!!!!!! You love your new room and your new bed.............You lay in your bed and watch TV all the time...........Mommy or Daddy fall asleep with you and you sleep through the night..........:).................Only once, so far..........you were sick and so we slept in the living room:(---it turned out to be your very first ear infection..............but you are doing better now...........but if this crazy weather doesn't make up its mind.......we will all be sick again soon:(...................You love to tell Brinley hello in mommy's belly!!!!!!! I can't wait to see what you do with her when she is here:)))))))))))))))))

YOU HATE FIREWORKS...................... Well love..............you stayed in Daddy's kitchen most of the night, because you were scared to death of the fireworks...........so you stayed in there with Maw Maw and every now and again, you would come into the garage and play ball with your cousins.......After midnight; however; daddy put the music on and you and your cousins and Mee Mee had a blast dancing.............Mommy and Maw Maw had a great time just laughing and laughing at all of ya'll.................Ya'll were having fun...........Hopefully for the 4th, you will like fireworks a little more:/................New Year's Day, we went to Mee Maw and Pee Paw's and then we went to Mee Mee and Paw Paw.............We then came home, rested and went to Maw Maw and Paw Paw.........again you were still not feeling well and you had a very cranky, fussy day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(and the top two molars, still aren't out:(

More Parties!!!!!!!!!!

This year, between Christmas and New Year's, we had a "Madere Party"...........that is Mee Mee's family.............They have so many girls on that side...........Actually you and Reese are the only boys......out of I think 15??????? But anyway.........it was not a good night for you.........You had been sick all week with "diarreah"........I can't spell............You cried and cried and cried.......not knowing what you wanted.............until...........Daddy got there......Go Figure and then you were fine.........Everyone was playing Michael Jackson on the Wii, air hockey, building blocks, jumping on the trampoline, etc., etc............It was a fun, hilarious night..........I just wish you would have been feeling a little better:/

Christmas Eve and Day!

So much fun................Christmas Eve, we baked cookies for Santa and we went to church........You slept on Daddy almost the whole mass..........that night, we went to Nanny Vicky's house........You were scared of the bonfire.............We came home and you went to sleep waiting for Santa........The next morning, you did not wake until 10:00..........You were so excited to see what Santa brought.....you didn't know what to touch first!!!!!!! That day, we went to Mee Maw and Pee Paw's house to exchange gifts with them........that afternoon, we exchanged gifts with Maw Maw, Paw Paw and Paran..................Earlier in the week on the 23rd, we exchanged gifts with Mee Mee, Paw Paw, Nanny and her family, Unlce Jeff and his family...........We had gumbo and we dressed in our PJ's..........It was a fun night!!!!!!!!!! And you enjoyed Mee Mee's gumbo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go Hornets

Well..........Riverside had an RA night for the Hornet's game, so we decided to take you....They had lots of people from Mommy's work there!.......It was very cold...........You got to see HUGO........the bee, who you were not so sure of............You enjoyed the game, until the announcer got loud...........then you cried and wanted to leave..........but Daddy went walk with you and then Mommy went walk with you...........You ended up making it until the beginning of the the 4th Quarter.......(not so bad)...........You enjoyed the popcorn:)

More Weekend before Christmas!!!!!!!!

On Saturday, we went to the Church Hall with Drew, Nanny, Heather, and Jen to have breakfast with Santa............Again, you were a big boy and sat on Santa by yourself...........You played pin the nose on Rudolph, hot potato, bingo, and you listened the story, "The Cajun Night Before Christmas"..........It was a fun time and you had a good time............On Sunday, we went to Paulina and slide down the levee with Nanny and her family, and Uncle Jeff and his family!!!!!!!!! Everyone was there, including Mee Mee and Paw Paw...........You had a blast along with everyone else.......(Even the adults:)....................

Weekend before Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!!!!!!! What a busy weekend!!!!!!!!! On Friday, you, Mommy, and Daddy went to visit Santa's Secret Workshop and Christmas in the Oaks!!!!!!!!!!! It was a little cold, but we had a great time.......Santa's Workshop was very cute and you sat on Santa all by yourself........FINALLY!!! It was a very cute house......with lots of Toys!!!!!!!! We then went to Christmas in the Oaks........where you and daddy had a blast riding the carousel!!!!!!!!! We then rode the train.....and it was FREEZING!!!!!!!!!!!(well mommy was anyway!).............We walked around and looked at lots of lights........We had a nice visit in Story town, can't wait to take you there in the spring time! Right when we were leaving........it started to rain..........perfect timing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you afraid of Santa????? Well maybe if we keep trying you will start to like him!

Okay............So the first two times you saw Santa, you were scared of him!!!!!!!!!!! The first time was at the hospital......We went to visit Mee Maw and Santa was there giving gifts out!!! Mommy had to hold you......you were so scared! The second time was at the Marathon Xmas party........Again............Mommy had to hold you............You had a good time at the party........sliding on the big blow up slide.........We didn't stay too long.........Mommy had been sick and it was very hot in there with a lot of people..........so we left early:( Sorry! But all in all you had fun and I will keep trying until you like Santa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Turkey Day!
Well we had a great week off!!!!!! This year the pecan trees made so many pecans......We picked alot of pecans this week and you loved eating them! For Thanksgiving, we went to Mee Maw and Pee Paw's house! We stayed there a while! That afternoon we went to Mee Mee and Paw Paw's house for supper and to watch the Saints Game!!!!!! You had a great time playing withe Drew at Mee Maw and Pee Paw's house!!!!! You were playing with your choo choo trains and Drew loved watching them!!!!!!! That evening you and all your cousins had a great time playing in the "Man Cave!"

Happy 2nd Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!

On Oct. 11, 2010..........We had your second bday pary!!!!!!!! It was a farm theme..........It was a very hot day! We had a spacewalk!!!!!!!! You, your cousins, and your friends had lots of fun! You enjoyed opening presents.......All you kept saying was more mommy, more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Saints played in the afternoon and we hung out and watched the game with some of our family and friends!!!!!!!! It was lots of fun!!!!!!!!!! We also announced to everyone that you were going to be a big brother:) I will post pics as soon as I get them onto a CD.........Aunt Vicky had to take them for me...........my camera was broken:(
