It's Carnival Time:))))

Carnival Season started with RA's Carnival Ball.  Brody, you were a penguin.  I was so very proud of you for going out there and dancing.  And did you dance:)))....lol.......It was nice to finally have my own to watch for two nights of sitting through the ball...lol........We spent all day the following Sunday in NO for parades....you love Mardi Gras.........wish I can say the same for myself.....but I did have fun......You and Dad went the Thursday before Mardi Gras back to NO.  Brin, you and mommy stayed home!! The Friday before Mardi Gras, Brody and Janie rode in the parade at school.  You guys were so cute and ya'll had fun. We also went to LaPlace parade the Sunday before Mardi Gras.  Paw Paw was in a ball on Sat. night and Mommy and Daddy had a great time.  Thanks to Mee Mee and Paw Paw for watching you guys:)  Mardi Gras day, we just stayed at Mee Mee and Paw Paw and boiled crawfish with all ya'll cousins.  It was rainy, but you guys had a fun day:)

Hey guys,

Well another wonderful and blessed year has come and gone!!  It is crazy how fast these years are passing.  WE had fun for New Years.  Brody, you and Dad built a bonfire and we had people over to pop fireworks, eat, talk, watch the Tigers and ring in the New Year.  It was a nice night:)))

Mickey's Country Music Festival

Hey guys,

The week before Christmas we headed out Baton Rouge with Aunt Katie and Sage to see Mickey on stage.  It was nice.  Brin and Sage loved all the music and characters.  Brody, you were unsure.  I don't think you were feeling good as two days later we were at the doctor.  You said you liked it, but it didn't seem like you did:)  We had a great day even though it was FREEZING:(((((

Christmas

Hey guys,

The week before Christmas, we spent some time sliding down the levee with the Bourgeois family in Paulina!  We had lots of fun and beat the rain:)  We also got together with the Roccaforte side and opened gifts.  WE had another fun pajama party.  We also met with the Delaneuville side and opened more gifts after we spent 3 hours at urgent care with Brody and Brin.  You both were sick.  But boy, Brody you felt better quick when you got your gift from maw maw and paw paw.  You finally got your dirt bike:)  For Christmas Eve, we took a ride to check out the bonfires, visited Baby Roccaforte's memorial, baked cookies, and made reindeer food.  We went to church, spent the evening at Aunt Vicky's popping fireworks and then came home and waited for Santa.  You guys were excited; however the next morning Brody you would not get out of your bed.  When you finally did, you were so surprised Santa left things for you. You told me you must have been a little good bc he left somethings.  I asked why you said that and you told me that Daddy and I had told you, you were being bad and that Santa would not leave you any toys:(  You loved everything he left for you.  We also went to Mee Maw's the next day and opened more gifts.
